Run to Renew 10K Charity Run

We are excited to announce that on Saturday, June 24th Salopek & Associates will be holding our 2nd annual Run to Renew 10K Charity Run in support of the Calgary Food Bank! After a great inaugural year, our goal for the 2017 Run is to raise more funds for Calgarians in need and have more runners register to help us increase awareness of the Calgary Food Bank and the work they do to provide Calgary families in need with nutritious food year round.

Last year, over 170,000 people visited the Calgary Food Bank in need of food, and of those, 40% were children! It’s been a tough past couple years for many Calgary families, so I am looking forward to running and raising funds to support those Calgarians who are in need of help. Purposefully scheduled in June and half way through the year, during a time when donations are fewer and not at the forefront of people’s minds, Salopek’s Run to Renew provides an opportunity to replenish the food available to Calgarians while reflecting on resolutions made in January and renewing commitments of living a more active lifestyle in 2017.

Registration for Run to Renew is free, and 100% of funds raised go directly to the Calgary Food Bank. Whether you run or walk, your involvement and support to help raise funds and awareness would be sincerely appreciated. Not the 10K type? We would love for you to consider sponsoring a member of our team (check out my fundraising page). A donation of any size makes a difference and will help to put healthy food on the table of Calgary families in need.

On behalf of the entire Salopek & Associates team, thank you in advance for your support, generosity and effort in helping us spread the word and raise funds for the Calgary Food Bank through our Run to Renew. We look forward to running with you!
